I got a 6-day Memorial Day weekend. I don't know why Thursday was off. Maybe Dr. Lamb just wanted an extended weekend. Friday was off, but I went to the Arizona Optometric Association 2007 Spring Congress. I was gonna go Saturday also, but I got tied up trying to configure my new wireless router (my Wii is now online and I can wander around the apartment with my webcam to show it to you now). Sunday was more optometry conference stuff that I didn't go to. Today is Memorial day. And I have tomorrow off also. I don't know why.
I didn't do anything special this weekend. Just more sitting by the pool. I did do laundry. That was exciting. I finished another book (Age and Guile Beat Youth, Innocence, and a Bad Haircut by P.J. O'Rourke) and now I'm catching up on magazines I've been meaning to read.
I went grocery shopping yesterday. And also picked up some printer paper (so I can finally use the printer I bought last week), some CD-Rs, and a picture frame and matte for one of my favorite photos (see above).
Tomorrow, I'm plan to visit Goodwill and pick up a cheap chair (I'm tired of sitting on the floor) and an antenna for my TV (the batteries ran out on my little TV).
I don't know what else to say. Yesterday was Jon's birthday. I called him up and wished him well. The Smashing Pumpkins are touring again. Check it out. Oh, and Baby Renton was born a couple days ago...but if you're reading this, you already know.
